We have a free shareware program that can be used to send phone notifications from a network monitoring software. This program does not require a phone to have paging or text messaging capability.
We'd like to provide a sample code for the integration. It would be easier if the monitoring software is open source. But as long as it provides an interface, we should be able to do it.
