Hey people. I now enough of 2000 server to be ok in it, but I need to brush up on users, profiles, printing, etc. Which tests cover these? I have the training materials but I would like to now the order to take them that would best fit my needs.

Thx,

Zych

have you passed any MCPs yet?
are you familiar with client & server?
what are your exam objectives ? (just w2k server?, MCSA? MCSE?)

try this:
70210 (2000 pro)
70215 (2000 server)
70218 (managing a w2k environment)

Thanks! Actually I am an old Novell person. I never really cared much for Microsoft's Network Operating Systems though 2000 was a big leap for them. I have a new client that is using 2000 Server so I think it is time that I get a better understanding. I have some CBT's and just bought a book. I think I may start of with some Active Directory info. It seems that is where most user and group information is stored in most environments. I will take a closer look at my clients configuration.

Again thanks,

Zych

with win2k, there are two or three big areas...
1. Actual computer and hardware troubleshooting and installation methods. 70-210/215
2. Active directory environment, GPO, Users, righs, NTFS etc... 70-218/217
3. Networking, TCP/IP/DNS/DHCP/WINS/RRAS, Certificates, encryption & security... 70-216

and their equivalents XP/2003....
as far as i can tell anyway...
