Hi, Can anyone tell me which module I need to connect my network through a 2610 router to my NTL Cable Broadband (up to 10MB) internet access, assuming that it is a suitable router for this?
If not opinions on the most suitable router and module would be much appreciated.

I too have struggled to find a WIC card from Cisco where you can directly connect your coax cable (integrated CSU/DSU or integrated cable modem) to the WIC. This document lists most all the interfaces and options for 2600 series routers, so you may find it here. Otherwise I would think you could use your external cable modem and then a WIC-1DSU-T1-V2 card in the router. The 2610 should be plenty of hardware to support cable broadband internet access. Otherwise Cisco often promotes the 1750 as a broadband access router.

Unfortunately 2600 series routers don't support WIC-1ENET. If your NM slot is not in use, you can add either NM-1E or NM-4E to add a 10mbit port(s). Otherwise I would say to get a 2611 router (two 10mbit ports built onboard).

You can also go with the 1700 series with a WIC-1ENET (1720,1721,1750, etc). This will give the two Ethernet ports desired.
