Tried most freely available for download, always seem to go back to RedHat. The install and setup just seems to have that "something" extra the others lack.
But that is very subjective, the others (Suse, Mandrake, etc) are still very good. My opinion is also more based on workstation usage rather than server, I simply like the up2date function and general support offered with packages like Ximian's Red Carpet, and in general the availability of RH specific RPM's which saves building from tarballs.
