Hi folks:

I got a copy of norton ghost 2003. You can create
a standard ghost boot disk with lpt support. That's nice,
but which kind of parallel cable must i buy ?? for testing
for example on the source server and copy its image to a target server using this cable and norton ghost boot disk

please help

ciao.

I have used a Lap Link cable printer port cable in the past for this type of proceedure. I am not sure that Lap Link is still in business but several companies make it and well as the wireing is available on the net.

I was just scanning that document.

NOTE THE SECOND CAUTION!!!! Be very careful about your directions of information flow--in fact you may want to do a ghost of your good system to a cd before you start so you can recover if something goes wrong.

Good luck.
