Hi,
Can anybody tell me how to start to study .NET and c#. I am very new to this and I know java and Tomcat webserver and Oracle database. Will that be of any use.
Also pls inlcude what they mean and what is their potential market. I know Microsoft never lets down anybody...
Pls don't say 'Type c# tutorial inGoogle.com and there you go'. Because I get the apt and clear answers in the forums.
Thanks in Advance
Girish.

Since you already know Java, and the syntax is very similar, I would start off with the O'Reilly "C# in a nutshell"
It's more of a reference to the language, as well as the most commonly used classes from the framework.

I haven't found a really good "Enterprise development in C#" type book yet -- one that covers good development practices. I think everyone is still learning how best to do it.
