Which is fastest over the network:OLAP, MOLAP or ROLAP ? 1

Good day,

I have users who work with a pivot table in Excel but, the performance is not good. The table has 90000 rows and currently the desighn storage for the cube is ROLAP. Can anyone make any suggestions to give this cube better performance ?

MOLAP will always execute faster than ROLAP, but that's because MOLAP spends the time to accumulate the aggregations at the time of the cube building. ROLAP does not precalculate aggregations and so will build faster but execute slower.

HOLAP, Hybrid OLAP, falls between MOLAP and ROLAP.
