Which indexes are used?

Over the past year, developers, report writers & data fixers have created indexes all over the place.
The application we use is not our own and the supplier can't seem to supply a definitive list of the indexes required!
Is there a way to find out which indexes are being used and which are not as I don't want to remove any that might actually be improving response times?

You could turn SQL*Trace on at database level for a day and then search the resulting trace files to see if the index name appears in there.
