I have inherited a few systems... without all of the supporting information. IE - I dont know which (if any) HMC the system is attached to.

Is there a way from the OS level to determine what the HMC name and/or IP address is?

I dont have physical access to the all of the systems - they are not in the same location as I am.

lsrsrc IBM.ManagementServer|grep -w Hostname|cut -d'"' -f2

Note: that's lsrsrc - LiSt ReSouRCe, not lssrc

Thing is, it's something I learned right here on the AIX forum from someone else (and it stuck in my TekTips memory), but seeing search is down, I can't find the name of the TTer you should be thanking...
