Which hard disk for 24 hour operation

I want to buy a new harddisk for a webserver.
Which one is capable of running 24 hours a day
Uses minimal power, creates minimal noise
And is also available for a reasonable price?

The answer could be: "that one is not available"

But which one is the best choice.

What interface? because as you probably know, the question depends on if you have a professional server box or not, where SCSI is better suited to these tasks and the drives are optimised for this type of work.
