Hi guys,

I have two sybase installations on two different H/w.

Both(ASE) has the same name PROD_SRVR12, PROD_SRVR12.

Well, before you start advising me, let me explain why these two have the same names.

One of the Server (with powerful H/w) is going to replace the other one(earlier setup with low h/w resources). And that's the reason.

So, now. If I connect to one of these using "isql", how do I check which one I am connected to?

Is there a variable like @@servername, user_name() etc which tells me the Server H/w name onwhich ASE sits?

Come-up with any guess, if you are not sure. We can try.

Thanks,

RajD
