Any Help Appreciated!

In opening Outlook Personal Folder Backup, I went to File | Backup | Outlook Personal Folder Files. I clicked Open Backup Button.
There are Outlook1.pst, Outlook2.pst, Outlook3.pst, Outlook4.pst and Outlook backup.pst. Which of these files would I use to restore when I reinstall Outlook 2003? Got error in Safe Mode. Not had much work with O2003
Is it the file with the later date and time when I put the cursor over the file the one to pick? I assume it will only be Outlookbackup.pst from Personal Folder Backup.
The File Location for the Backup is C:\Users\Owner\Ap.D\Outlook\Outlookbackup.pst.
This is the location of the .Pst file.
C:\Documents and Settings\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook3.pst.
How do you backup and restore Outlook 2003 using Personal Folder? Can I copy Outlookbackup.pst like to a new place in other folder like Documents then rename Then copy as my restored
Can I go to File | Backup | Outlook Data File then click the .Pst file. The one that has
The longest date/time by holding the mouse over the file. Then The On the File pull-down menu, point to Open, and then click Outlook Data File.
Click the Outlookbackup3.pst file you want to open, and then click OK.
Haven’t used Outlook 2003 much!
Thank you for any assistance.

Outlook 3003?! Well, I'd like to see that! :)

You'd certainly want to backup *.pst. If you're just reinstalling Outlook, you don't generally need to backup/restore them. If you're moving Outlook to another machine, or reloading the entire machine, then you'd want to back them up and restore them when appropriate.
