Which file should I transfer?

I am quite new to MS SQL Server. <br>Now I am using it to develop our database, and we are writing coldfusion program. But I have to pass the database to my friend, I just found that there has no such database file called, like access database, has the extension .mdb. I can only found the database device file, of which the extension is .dat<br>So which file shall I pass to my friend, to let him configure coldfusion server to connect to the database?<br>Thanks in advance!<br>Albert
 
If it is SQL 6.5, you would rather be taking a back-up of the database and send the backup file to your
