Am looking to upgrade the backbone switches. Currently require 96 Gigabit ports for the servers and uplinks. Was suggested I buy a pair of 3870's however when I looked at the data sheet it shows them at desktop level not server level. It shows 8800's at server level and 7700's at the next level down. We currently have 350 pc's mostly running terminal services so not massive load but don't want to buy these to find they need replacing in 12 months time. Also recommended MRV MR2326-S4C anyone heard of these before ?
