whether SCSI Card require IBMX346 server.

I am sending the details of IBM server. Please suggest tape drive
Server = IBM xSeries 346 Part No. = MT-M 8840-21A S/N = 99TPZD7

Current Tape Drive is compatible with DDS4 20/40 GB Tape. We require the tape drive which is capable to take backup up to 500 GB. some one suggested following

problem is that some people saying ultra 320 card not require and some one saying required. please tell me scis card required or not.

The scsi card is not required, as there is an external scsi connector on the rear of the server, as long as you get the correct cable it should work.
