Colleagues,
This is the 2nd time it happened when upgrading to the next version of the VS: "Locals" window is not visible, only "Immediate" and "Error List" ones.
Since "Picture worth 1,000 words" - here it is:

Apparently, I'm missing something in the Properties/Settings - what exactly? And where? And how am I to bring the "Locals" back?
Please advise.

AHWBGA!

Regards,

Ilya

I did.
Not found there:

Neither anywhere else.

It's VS 2022 Professional, ver. 17.9.3.

Because you did not start debugging.
First you need to start debugging with
Debug > Start Debugging and then it should be there.

Thank you, Mikrom!
In VS 2019, it was always there, available.
Why did they change it in VS 2022 is beyond my comprehension!
Issue's resolved, case's closed.

Ilya

Often the newer version is more complicated than the older one because they add so-called new features that only a minority of users will use anyway.

The Locals window? Not in my copy of VS19 it isn't. Same behaviour as VS2022 - you need to be debugging for access to it.
