Hi all,
Sorry, I couldn't find the right forum but this seems closest.

In Google Maps, there used to be a 'Street View' link in all google maps, regardless of whether you searched for a specific address.

I know that when I do a specific address, there's often a streetview link when I click on the pushpin thing. But there used to be one next to the buttons where it says "Traffic, Map, Satellite, Earth, More...". Now it's gone. I want to browse streetview for an area--without having to give an exact address--but it seems impossible now.

The area I'm looking at definitely had streetview a year ago so it's probably not a case of it not being available.
Thanks for any help

You shouldn't need a specific address. Type in Paris, France for the address and you'll get a map of Paris with the "little man" that you can drag to any street to get streetview.

Hope this helps.

Thanks...yep, he's above the magnifier slider. That's what changed, it used to be specific menu-button/link along with the maps, terrain, etc.
