I just loaded up linux on CD (from knoppix.com) which has mozilla 5.0 mail - how can I get a "new mail indicator" to appear in the tray like it does with outlook express?

Umm.. you are talking two differnet platforms. I don't think there is notification in linux like there is in Windows. Which are you using Gnome or KDE? Mike Wills
