I'm running Arcserve 2000 on a Win2000 with a 14 tape library attached. I am also backing two other servers up to this machine. I run a full backup Sunday with incrementals every other day of the week. In doing so I have a tape named for each day of the week that contains that days session. I have been running in this config for about a month now.
My problem is this, WHERE IS MY FILES? I can see the directory structure just fine on the tapes, but when I drill down, there are no files in the directories. It is just empty directory structure on the tapes.
Anyone that can give me some help, please do so.

Modify the job and go into options. Go into the Operation tab and check your Database option. Is the "Record Detail Information" option selected? If not, you will not see the files. The next thing you might try is going into the Manager and utilities to Merge the tape.

If that still doesn't get it, check the tape with the full backup, does it behave the same way?

I have a similar issue on all of my tapes. I can see the backup structure such as drive c, d, etc. but no files or directories. I have verified the "Record Detail Information" option is set and have also used merge without any success. (Running Arcserve 2000 with service pack 3)
