Where Windows gots wordpads & paints language???

Hi,

I have few XP installations with UK winXP. There was once one french software installed that was removed.

Everyplace in OS is in English execpt when I close wordpad (notepad = OK) if changes done it says something in france instead of "save changes to document".

All language settings are Ok...

Start, run, sfc /Scannow

You likely have a .dll floating around from the French version.

Also, check Conttrol Panel, Regional Settings to make sure you have specified the correct language type.
