I have set up a Windows share and connect to it via
mount -v cifs -n srv1234/user1/pwd /AIX$ /mnt

How can I secure the password? Is there an encrypted "password file" where it can be stored with an option on the mount line to reference the file??

If there is such a file, how do I create it??

Thanks a lot.
