Hey...

I've got 6 years of Filemaker relational db building stand alone and networked custom applications under my belt...

I want to dip my toe into SQL to see if [a] i like it i can do it [c] its useful ...

Where the hell do I start ? I've got access to all of my companys software so thats no problem...

hello,

welcome to SQL Server club. ofcourse, use MS SQL Server 2000. Its too good. Get some neat beginer book and you would be on tract for any years to come.

master sql server 2000 by mick from sybex is a good starter.
