Hello all,
I have 9 tables:
Applications
Company
Connections
Contacts
Data
Devices
Merchants
Protocols
Users

All tables are linked to Company and all can have many records to one Company. I want to be able to search by ANY one field and bring up the company and all linked records to that company be it multiple contacts, or applications they use, etc. How would I design the forms? I plan on using a main form with an update button and you can choose what table you want to update. It would also have a Search By button with choices also. Does this sound feasible? I am very new to this, but still computer saavy, so fire away if you have any tips.
Thanks!

One way might be to have a Company mainform, with a series of related subforms. You could display all data at the same time by using a series of datasheet subforms (possibly embedded in a tab control) to keep it tidy. However, depending on the amount of data this might be a little slow.

An alternative is to have seperate forms, & open them from the Company form, so that they display only information related to the current company. This will probably be faster, but less comprehensive looking.

Regarding your search form, you will need to include more details... James Goodman
