I'm running an Exchange 5.5 Server, SP4, and have a Storage Area Network (SAN) setup for my Logs and Stores. Exchange is installed on the internal *mirrored* SCSI drives O/S partition (C:) in the \exchsrvr folder. Running Windows 2000 Server w/SP3. I've recently had a problem with the Internet Message Service (hanging), but was able to resolve.

The \imcdata folder is currently setup under the internal drive "C:\exchsrvr\imcdata". Is this the best place to locate this folder? Looking to increase performance and minimize any downtime.
