Where to Keep the configurable Items in sharepoint ?

Hello ppl,
I have couple of questions to ask.

1----I have a normal aspx page with web.config.Now I have to integerate with sharepoint.How can I manage this web.config as already we have one web.config file for the site.OR How can I bundle this aspx page in sharepoint.

2---I want to have the site Name/URL(for eg:

http://TT-123ldev)

as a configurable item .Where can I keep these kinds of configurable items

am confused!!

please let me know about this and also if you have any article/website to look into this.

i dont think you will want to integrate all the values from your original web.config. only the appKeys right? that can be added to the web.config generated by sharepoint.

why do you want that as configurable? this will be vailable in the SPContext object...

Known is handfull, Unknown is worldfull
