Sorry if this is not appropriate to this forum. I have a question about serial communications, and I figured I would have the best chance of getting an answer from a fellow unix person. (That is, someone who refers to the male DB-9 on the back of a pc as "tty1a".)

Does anyone know where I can find pin-out diagrams for going from a Digi PORTS/16em RJ-45 jack to a DB-25? The Digi website has nothing (suprise!).
Is there another forum I should post this to?
Thanks for any help available.

I use the following connections from a Digi board to pc's using Procom Plus, Tiny Term or Hyperterminal, Dumb Terminals and Serial Printers with SCO Unix 5.0.x:

DB9 to DB25
Terminal Digi Board
2 Blue 3
3 Black 2
5 Brown 20
7 Green 7
N/C Orange 1

I hope this helps. I am unsure if you are using a dumb terminal or pc but the pinouts are the same for both. Have fun pinning out those connectors and breaking out the magnifying glass.
