Does anyone know where I can find the little 88x31 buttons for Internet Explorer 6 and Netscape 6? I'd like to place them on my main page to encourage visitors to have the most recent versions.

Thanks in advance.

Alternatively, if you don't have the graphics skills, you could always screen grab and cut them out.

I thought maybe Microsoft and Netscape had "official" buttons available somewhere. I would have no trouble making these, I was just hoping to save a couple of minutes and grab what's already out there.

Thanks for the responses.

If you have these browsers installed on your system chances are that you already have these buttones stored there somewhere! I found the IE button one day when working with Powerpoint. They are probably there somewhere.
An image search with gogle will probably get them for you.

I might find the IE one on my system I can mail it to you.

I got bloody bored at the weekend:
É,

The Google search turned up just what I needed. Quick and easy thanks to Nate!

I find both buttons really ugly personally and it's a little thing that most people did a bit too much about 3 years ago.

I recommend this little script :

<script>
if (!document.getElementById)
{
document.write(&quot;<a href=' upgrade my browser?</a>&quot;)
}
</script>

This little script checks to see if the browser understands the new DOM standard from the w3c. If it doesn't it writes the link out on the page.

Let me know what you think. Gary Haran

I'd have to see it in action I guess. But I don't have an incompatible browser to test it with (anyone have IE2 they can send me?!). Is there another way to see this script in action? It sounds like a good alternative.
