Hi! First time. Just installed Norton Internet Security 2004. Logged off--rebooted. Now, I have no administrator. Anyone know how I can get the option to log on as Administrator back?

Do you mean the administrator icon when you log onto windows?? for being an admin to the local computer? if so what OS are you using?

I am using XP professional. When I have the computer set to be able to pick a user from the welcome screen, the Administrator is not a choice. But when I have it set to where I can type in "Administrator" and my password, I can get on my PC as administrator.

I was reading through an unrelated thread and found this,

When you first install windows XP the Administrators password is blank. You could Try logging on with the user name administrator and no password. If you are at the Windows XP Welcome screen where no Administrator user is visible then tap Ctrl-Alt_Del twice at the welcome screen and the standard network login dialog will appear.

Hope this solves your problem.

Brett.
