Where should the PPDs be stored?

Where should I store my PPDs for PPD manager to work? I have Quark 6.5 on a Mac OS 10.3.9.

(I have three questions in all. Thought it was better to post them one at a time.)

In Applications/Quark folder/Preferences/PPD.
That's where your PPDs are stored.

...ppd manager can have an auxiliary folder created anywhere on your computer, for it to work you need to tell the ppd manager to look in that folder...

...for system wide use you want to place them in the library folder here:

library > printers > ppds > contents > resources > en.lproj

or

system > library > printers > ppds > contents > resources > en.lproj
