I am interested in purchasing the whole works of VB5 Professional Edition package and has anyone any ideas as to where there still remains?

AgeWizard -

I've heard that you can buy old releases of titles from Microsoft, but it's difficult to find someone there who:
a) knows about this, and
b) is willing to sell a copy to you

You may need to be a member of MSDN or something. It might help to tell them you need it for backwards-compatability testing.

Chip H.
If you go ahead and buy the Visual Studio 6, you can get it for the same price of 2 tools, which would pretty much serve you better if you have room to advance, VB6 isnt very much different, I assume you would like 5 because it would possibly be less expensive to obtain, but check out how much it would be to get the whole studio, since its a better price than getting 2 tools indivisually

( I belive its cheaper mainly cause all the tools are put onto 2 CDs, and not over 7 CDs if you were to buy each tools indivisually )
Karl
kb244@kb244.8m.com
<a href=
Experienced in , or have messed with : VC++, Borland C++ Builder, VJ++6(starting),VB-Dos, VB1 thru VB6, Delphi 3 pro, Borland C++ 3(DOS), Borland C++ 4.5, HTML, ASP(somewhat), QBasic(least i didnt start with COBOL)
