I have a little problem with "compressed zipped folders" that I can only solve manually - my computer froze while it was unzipping a file - and now I wanna find that tempfile so that I can remove it (it has eaten like 1 gb of my system partition)

So: where is the folder located that contain the temporary files while windows generate the unzipped file??`

Thanks alot!!

Thanks alot!

You were right, thats where the files are hidden! :)

I miss another program that does the same as the one you send. I dont remember the name of it though.

I once found a "simple" but so cool program, it showed your harddisk like a big messy bookcase, each file shown as a book, and folders like books on top of eachother.

Does anyone know the name of that program?? it is really useful to get a quick picture of what is eating your space. Often useless files eats space, and it can even be a big bite of your harddisk... so even people with big harddisks are losing 5% of their harddisk on nothing.

Thanks again!

There are many HD cleaners out there, that are freeware...

ie. HD CLEANER... just GOOGLE for them...

This thread while not having links to the type of programs you refer to has a lot of good information on regaining back lost space.
