I am looking to put a specific magnification and found this o the web:

"Zoom to a specific magnification from 5% to 4000% by typing the percentage in the Magnification field (lower left corner) then pressing Return/Enter. Quickly jump into the Magnification field by pressing Cmd+Opt+5 (Mac) or Ctrl+Alt+5."

My problem is finding the Magnification field o the lower left corner. I don't see it. Also the Keyboard shortcut does not do anything. (i'm using CS4 windows 7)

CS4

In Mac OS, you can display the zoom percentage in the status bar by hiding the application bar (Window > Application Bar). In Windows, you cannot hide the application bar.

The zoom percentage field is found bottom left of the document window on mac os when the application bar is hidden.

it is next to bridge Icon at the top of your window

...as mentioned earlier, windows is a bit different to mac in this respect...

...when you hide the application bar you get the magnification field on the document window, bottom left...

...as you can't hide the app bar on windows in CS4, it won't be there...

...i believe that if you have the application frame enabled in windows you get it on the top bar next to the bridge icon (as on the mac version)...

...i also believe the shortcut will still not work, as it doesn't on mac os x with the application frame enabled, so a kind of bug unfortunately, so you have to do it manually clicking and typing...
