Where is the compile and runtime in Crystal XI 1

I have not upgraded or used any of the Crystal versions since 8.0. It seems like they removed a crap load of good stuff since.

I used to have two options. First I could download the old style crrun.exe and report distribution expert and compile my reports so the user would be prompted for my parameters are runtime. Also, verion 8 came with an extra awesome option to install on the server as a web service so I did not have to deploy anything to the clients to support the report. Just an ActiveX control to view.

Now both these options appear to be gone in the XI Professional verion. What are my options now for creating reports and distributing them and running them througout the organization?

That option no longer exists ( it was officially eliminated in 8.5 although it could still be used unofficially - since 9 that option is not longeer viable).

The method now is to use the developer edition of XI and utilize the SDK to create a COM object or web page ( asp or asp.net with code in VB or C#) - You can also buy Crystal Server 2008 and publish the reports to a web site( CR Server is a subset of BOE XI, the large scale method of publishing reports)
