Did a to answer that question, but all that comes up is:

C:\Users\<your User name>\appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\start Menu\Programs\startup
(unhide hidden folders)

PROBLEM: My path is C:\Users\Owner\ ... but there is no AppData or Roaming. Attempting to locate Microsoft\Windows is a negative.

Was previously on XP and, fortunately, the MS developers had kept it relatively straightforward, simple and logical to find "Microsoft\Windows\Startup" ... seems to me that their concept is that each "improvement" to Windows shall become more obtuse, unlike whatever was done previously, etc., etc.

Any direction in my search is appreciated. Thank you.

AppData is a hidden folder. You won't see it in Explorer unless you:

Oganize/Folder and search options/View/Show hidden files, folders and drives

If you want to see absolutely everything starting up, use AUTORUNS. Your mind will be blown by the number of things that are starting when Windows loads. Be careful about disabling any of them if you don't know what you're doing. One wrong "uncheck" and the system might not boot.

If you type %APPDATA% in the address bar of Windows Explorer it will take you to your appdata\Roaming folder (you can use %LOCALAPPDATA% to go to appdata\Local). You can go straight to the startup folder by typing (or copy/pasting) %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\start Menu\Programs\startup.

C:\Users\<your User name>\appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\start Menu\Programs\startup

That is the location of "your" startup folder. The All Users startup folder is located at:
[tab]C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Make sure you have unchecked the hidden files option as described above to see it. Those locations are only going to show you program shortcuts that have been placed in the startup folder by program installs or by other users. The registry will have quite a few more in these locations:
[tab](32-bit Win7) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
[tab](64-bit Win7) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
