By default POP3, HTTP, IMAP, LDAP4, and NNTP are installed.
You may need to enable them.
Open exchange
Then the site;
Then go to configuration;
Then protocols.
You will see them here.
Protocols may be enabled and disabled per user at the recipient level, under the protocol tab.
To test your POP3 try this;
telnet to zzz.zzz.zzz.zzz 110
This will open your POP3 exchange server, when you insert your IP into the x's

You mean, how do you add POP3 user accounts? You don't, just add regular mailboxes and make sure the pop3 protocol is allowed to them. When the pop3 user wants to connect, give them either the IP address or it's resolvable name as both the pop3 and smtp servers in the pop3 client. Also, The alias and the username have to be the same for pop3 to work.
Okay, maybe I am little thick on this.
I see my POP3 in protocols. It is enabled.
In connections I open IMS.
I think I am to put the pop3 domain in under the Internet Mail Tab - email domains. Is this correct?
Then, where do I put the actual pop accounts for each person? I do see the email address for each recipient.
Perhaps I am just confused because in SBS NT POP3 connector, you need to include the actual pop mailbox.
In regular NT, it seems to be asking for the mail domain and the email address only.
