Where is mail saved

My Groupwise is screwed up.<br>It runs fine...unless I rebuild the<br>postoffice database...then some of<br>us cannot log in.<br><br>If I restore the NDS and groupwise directories we can work...but cannot<br>get new users into the address book.<br><br>I'd like to scrap this install...<br>create a brand new one...and<br>IMPORT ALL MAIL, CALENDARS ETC. FROM<br>THE ABOVE.<br><br>Can anyone help me with this?<br><br>Thanks,<br>Glenn Abelson

I have never seen this problem before but there seems to be some RIGHTS issues in your directory structure. I had an install where not all the rights were appropriately assign to the directory. I then explicitly specified the ALL rights for the directory (at the top of the PO) and everything worked. This did leave a security hole but it got everything working.

If your running GW5 I would highly recomend that you use client\server mode only. This will stop you from having to assign rights to servers that the users really dont need.<br>After I did this I would do A top down rebuild of the system using the tools in nwadmin.
