Have a look at the properties for the email and it should show you the header (it's on the File > Properties > Details tab in OE). This should give you the mailer and usually the ip address which you can do a lookup on. This doesn't guarantee the source, but it does give you a start.
This is a bit of a problem, like I said it doesn't guarantee the source, but there may be more than one ip address in the header. The last one listed as received: should be the address sent from. Of course if the ip allocation is registered to a company outside of the country it originated from, I don't think there is much else you can do.
If the situation is because of spamming, then reporting the details to the ISP is a good idea. If you're interest is because of security try Fonsie's Security Information Site (honest!)
Interesting site that. Well worth a look. My interest was a little less severe than security or spamming. I have, as you know, a website and have lots of e-mails regarding the site. I was just interested to know the reach of interest.
Oh, I see. Have you considered putting an email form on your site instead of the mailto link? You could ask people to give an indication of their country on that, make it optional so you're not forcing anyone.
