I have just switched from Netscape to Outlook Express. I have different identities for business and personal use and want to back up the messages and information.

Where are these files kept on your PC, and what are they called? I checked the Outlook folder, but it doesn't seem like they are there.

You would need to setup "profiles" in Outlook. Outlook express uses identities. Look on the File menu/idenetities.

Normally it stores the files in a path similar to this
C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Identities\"{D3336F4F-3ECD-4F3D-BF98-CEB6740295C3}"\Microsoft\Outlook Express the only diferent bit is the part in quotes which is the identity info. the files in the dir are .dbx normaly Inbox.dbx outbox.dbx folders.dbx and offline.dbx being the standard files.
