Thank heavens for Tek-Tips. Corel no longer support version X, though you have to spend 30 minutes typing stuff into boxes before they tell you that. I wasn't aware that Tek Tips had a PSP Forum, but thanks to Google I do now, and can ask my simple questions of people who are actually prepared to be helpful, as I know from other Tek-Tips forums.
OK, I've used PSP since it was on Windows 3, but only for photo editing - must be 50,000+ of them now. I stopped upgrading when the upgrades Corel encouraged me to try didn't work and screwed up my working installation when removed. Suddenly I now find I need to produce a graphic for my website, a simple vertical narrow bar starting with a dark colour at the top and fading to a light colour at the bottom. The Help tells me, in the briefest of terms, what to do, using the gradient editor, click New and so on. I suspect it is not so simple. But before I can start, please just where do I find the elusive gradient editor? I've found all sorts of previously undiscovered things, but nothing with a "New".
Told you the question was simple! I have no (serious) complaints about PSP's performance as a photo editor but I'd best keep the words that come to mind about the Help to myself.
Thanks in advance
