I am using Avaya VAL Manager.
I just backed up all the announcements on one board. During the backup process, the program did not ask me where I wanted to store those .wav files. So it stored them somewhere but I cannot find that directory. Searching for .wav files on my PC did not show anything either.

Thank you.

if you want to copy the .wav files. right click on the board and choose "copy/delete audio files" option. In there you can specify the folder you want the files to save to.

good luck

Check the 'C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Application Data\Avaya\VAL Manager\User\[Site Name\[Board Slot]. You may have to go into Windows Explorer\Tools\Folder Options and check the tab for 'view', then put a mark in 'Show Hidden Files and Folders'.

4merAvaya, thank you very much!
That's what I needed.

It's a little different for me.

With VAL 3.0 your files would be in:

C:\Program Files\Avaya\Voice Announcement Manager

With VAL 4.0 your files would be in:

C:\Documents and Settings\(user name)\Application Data\Avaya\Voice Announcement Manager\user
