Don't know if Mozilla works the same, but it uses an html file for storing bookmarks, not a folder.

You might want to check you profile folder for a bookmarks.htm file.

Pascal.

The bookmarks are indeed stored in a html file. To find them you need to look in your user account profile. For example:

c:\documents and settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\profilename

Where username is your login and profilename is the profilename within firefox.

You may need to change explorer to allow you view to hidden folders as the Application Data folder is hidden by default.

To do this open Windows Explorer, click on Tools>Folder Options and then click on the View tab, ensure Show hidden folder and files option is selected.
