where I can download pro-c compiler, c++

Hi,
Can anbybody please tell me where I can download the pro-c compiler. Also, Can I us Borland c++ to embed sql's in the program. I don't want to use the ODBC. but I want to embed the SQLs into the program. Can anybody advice me about this.
