Have an issue where the time stamp on voicemail when pulled from a station is approximately 30 minutes behind the actual time received. The time is incorrect in the subscriber log as well. Noticed the time on the server the MAS reside on was out, updated the time servers, but this has not made a difference. (All other avaya application display correct time stamp).

Is there a time setting, in modular messaging that controls he timestamp recorded for a message.

Thanks

Keith

do you have an MSS backend? if so, suggest you verify the time setting there. best practice would be set MSS to sync to NTP.

Once this is done, need to run time.bat on MAS's to sync.

MSS is the master time server for the Voice Mail domain, so it syncing to NTP means all MSS and MAS's will be OK.

Check too that the COS for the users in question is correct as per their actual time zone.

Thank you for the reply that was the answer. The time on the MSS was out.

I looked and saw the time and date was set to manual even though time servers were entered, switched it to poll from the time servers ran the time.bat and all is good.

Someone else just mentioned to me that. There is an issue with modular messaging 4 syncing to time servers, they were not specific. Have you ever heard of that issue?
