Where do you set QOS?

Is that mainly on the network switch? Is is a setting that you have to configure for VOIP?

Also, is there anything particular about POE switches besides the fact that they provide power?
 
On the POE you just have to be careful of how much power they give out and how much your end points draw. That way you dont draw more than it can supply. some switches will stop once they hit the limit and then no more devices will get power.
 
Yes this is one thing we saw with Cisco switches, they only presumed about a 50% load. Not much use for a call centre. We used a rack mounted inline PoE device (PowerdSine ).
This had the benifit of being retro fitted.
However now we tend to use either single inline PoE's or just standard adapters.
