Where do I put PHP chat file with default Apache setup?

I just installed Apache (the newest one) and I don't know where I would put php chat files. I'm slightly new to the whole thing, and I don't see where it gets the html file it shows when you test the server. If you need more information, I would happily answer any questions. Thanks in advance guys.

The file that is displayed when you test the server is set by the DocumentRoot directive in your httpd.conf file.

If by "the newest one", you're running Apache 2.0.xx, check out
