Hi,

We have been given 2 new SQL servers, one is 2005 and one is 2008. He also have an old SQL 2000 server.

On the old SQL 2000 box I can easily find database locks under current activity. However I cannot find the same thing in 2005 or 2008.

Can anyone give me some advice on how to see who is locking a database or what process etc.

Many thanks.

Hi,

Found it. You need to right click on the server name and then select Activity Monitor.

From within AM I can find what I needed.

Cheers.
