I am a PHP developer, on PHP.net you can find extensive documentation.

I am learning ASP and I looked all over the microsoft site and I cannot find a manual or programming guide.

I need:
-Language reference
-Function reference
-Object model

ect...

is my favorite quick reference guide.

They have ASP, ADO, vbScript, javaScript, pretty much everything you could possibly use.

Are you running MSIIS or PWS???

If you are running PWS (ie. on win98) you have to choose to install the complete documentation when installing it...

Otherwise there should be a virtual root enabling you to point your browser to
Hope this helps...

So according to goatstudio, Freedom is a right along with ripping off other people's hard work, eh?

You know, there's also a few ethics forums here at TT.

Sorry, but I think we all work really hard and that sort of comment just bugs me. If you bought books w/ all that information in it, it would cost you upwards to about $500. You can download it all from their site for I think $25. Not a bad deal, if you ask me.

Nope...instead provide the free manual on the site(not the downloadable version), what i did is just offline browsing. :) ------------------
