How would I check the settings for the CDR/SMDR output in a Nortel 81C or option 11? What load is it and what's the command?

Hi,

I beleive the following is used to turn on CDR - we are in the process of doing this ourselves so i have not tested this as yet.

I believe that there needs to be a spare TTY port setup as a CDR TTY with type cty as the user

LD 15
REQ : CHG
TYPE: CDR-DATA
CUST: 0
CDR : YES
…. RETURN DOWN TO NEXT PROMPT

PORT -> Port number of the TTY Port we are using for CDR
Return down to the REQ prompt and type END.

Then you have to turn on the CDR data on the trunks you wish to receive the data for

LD 16
REQ: CHG
TYPE: RDB
CUST: 0
ROUTE: -> the route number you wish to turn CDR on for

... RETURN DOWN TO NEXT PROMPT

CDR : YES
INC : YES - Enable recording of incoming calls
QREC : YES - Enable ACD CDR Queue connection records

couple of other places, on the routes cdr yes, plus the cdr data..

ld 21
prt
rdb
0
return to see all routes, then search for cdr, if cdr yes then the next line will be your cdr printer..

go to ld 22
prt
adan tty x, with x=to the cdr tty.. both of those plus the cdr_data is required
