Where did Auto Text go

I have been asked to upgrade our programs to Office 2007 from 03. I noticed that on footers in Word where I insert page numbering what used to say "1 of -4-" now says "of-4-".

In Word Tools>AutoCorrect>AutoText would allow me to see what was available. Now OfficeButton>Word Options>Proofing>Auto Correct Options --no AutoText tab.

Did Microsoft do away with AutoText?

PHV- Sorry about taking longer to get back than I should but have to put out a fire that was created by my "stupid"visor.

I see AutoText has changed. Tried the macro recorder and it use a different command than Word 2003.

Somethings in life never change--Office is NOT one of those.
