A friend said that he recently discovered pages of what looked like emails that he had been unable to open. He speculated that they had gone there everytime he clicked on them. (Is this possible? For if so I must have a file like that somewhere also.) They were not in Outlook Express or My Documents. Does anyone have any idea where this file might be? Many thanks in advance.

This is not a hardware problem. It also is not very clear what you are asking. Try a forum for your OS or office.

Sorry Franklin, I'm new here and haven't found my way around all the forums yet, so I just posted it here. The reason I was wondering where that file could be, is because my friend has been trying to locate it again but cannot. And because I have very little space left on my hard drive and was speculating that a file such as this could be causing it.

Probably the inbox, outbox, or deleted files that store emails.

Normally stored under identities.

goto command prompt, cd \, dir inbox*.* /s and see if it doesn't show up.

Not really a forum for this unless under your OS.

inbox and sent items are stored in a database until deleted, then they may be stored in a deleted database until further deleted from there, but this is dependent on whether you tell OE to discard them immediately.
